CashMyCarOregon, also presented as Oregon Cash Cars, operates cashmycaroregon.com for Oregon vehicle sellers. This policy applies to the public website, offer funnel, seller communications, and information handled through our protected admin and partner systems.

The website serves Oregon only. Our office is in Gresham, and vehicle evaluation, pickup, and transfer are coordinated for the confirmed Oregon location.

We collect the information you provide while requesting an offer, together with limited technical and attribution information needed to operate and protect the service.

• Seller details, including name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, and communication consent.
• Vehicle details, including Oregon ZIP and city, VIN, mileage, year, make, model, condition, keys, title or lien status, pickup notes, and seller comments.
• Up to six submitted vehicle photos and your separate choice about possible publication in Recent Purchases.
• Request details, including page path, referral source, campaign parameters, browser information, submission timing, and a privacy-protected hash derived from the request IP address.
• Operational records created after submission, such as offer history, assignment, contact attempts, pickup status, transaction milestones, and notification delivery records.

We use submitted information to identify the vehicle, evaluate the request, detect duplicate VIN submissions, contact the seller, coordinate an accepted offer, arrange towing or pickup, document the transaction, prevent misuse, and improve service performance.

VIN information may be sent to the U.S. Department of Transportation NHTSA vPIC service for vehicle identification. ZIP information may be checked against location data to confirm that the vehicle is in Oregon.

Access is limited to CashMyCarOregon personnel and, when needed, an assigned Oregon buyer, towing provider, or service partner involved in evaluating or completing the requested transaction. A partner receives only the lead information needed for the assigned work through a protected account.

We may also use infrastructure, email, messaging, hosting, security, and data-processing providers that support the website. We may disclose information when reasonably required to comply with law, protect sellers, investigate fraud, or enforce an agreement.

CashMyCarOregon does not offer the personal information submitted through the vehicle form for sale as a standalone marketing list.

Vehicle photos are private operational evidence by default. Selecting the optional publication checkbox gives CashMyCarOregon permission to consider one submitted vehicle photo for the Recent Purchases section only if we buy the vehicle.

Consent does not cause automatic publication. The system may identify the clearest submitted image, but a CashMyCarOregon administrator must confirm seller consent, confirm that the vehicle reached the required pickup or sale status, and manually approve the image after a privacy review.

• We may resize, crop, convert, or otherwise prepare an approved image for the website.
• Personal image metadata is removed during processing, and we do not intentionally publish names, contact details, documents, faces, house numbers, or readable license plates.
• Do not submit a photo containing people, ownership documents, payment information, or unrelated personal property.
• You may withdraw publication permission before approval or request removal of an approved image afterward by contacting us.

We retain offer and operational records for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate the request, prevent duplicate offers, complete a transaction, maintain business and accounting records, resolve disputes, protect the service, and meet applicable legal obligations. Photos and unsuccessful-offer records may be removed sooner when they are no longer operationally necessary.

Data is stored on protected systems with restricted admin and partner access. Uploaded seller photos are kept outside the public website directory. We use HTTPS, signed sessions, access controls, request filtering, and audit records, but no internet or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may ask us to review, correct, or delete information associated with your request, or to remove a published vehicle photo. Some transaction, accounting, fraud-prevention, legal, or dispute records may need to be retained even after a deletion request.

Call us or write to the office listed below. To protect the seller, we may ask for the lead reference, the last six characters of the VIN, and information that reasonably confirms you submitted the request. Do not send a complete Social Security number, payment card, or identity document with a privacy request.

The offer service is intended for adults who own a vehicle or are legally authorized to act for its owner. It is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
